Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the National Standard Body of India. BIS is responsible for the harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The objective of BIS is to providing safe reliable quality goods; minimizing health hazards to consumers; promoting exports and imports substitute; control over proliferation of varieties etc
In month of April we also formed BIS club in our vidyalaya by trained teacher.She works as mentor.Whole year there are so many activities including standard writing compitition, off line and online quize conducted in vidyalaya.
In National Quize Compitition conducted by BIS ,Harshita Solanki of class XII got first position with RS 5000/-.
